Brief:
Interviewing is an exchange and, as curator Nayia Yiakoumaki describes, ‘a dialogic method for understanding and communicating ideas’. In this project you’re asked to adopt this method, as you conduct and publish an interview with a creative practitioner of your choice.
Practitioners, such as designers and artists, continue to use interviews as an opportunity to think through concepts / ideas out loud, explain processes behind certain projects / works, make connections with like-minded individuals, and debate / discuss with one another. To note, the term practitioner is open to other fields and disciplines, and does not need to be tied to graphic design, although it can be.
